Overview
We built an interactive online learning platform for primary school students in Mauritius as part of an educational initiative associated with Nestlé. The platform provided students with engaging digital books, interactive educational modules, quizzes, and multimedia learning experiences accessible across devices.
The Challenge
For a primary-education initiative tied to Nestlé in Mauritius, printed learning materials weren't enough for remote and hybrid classrooms. The client needed young students to actually stay engaged with digital lessons, and teachers needed an easy way to publish and manage that content without relying on a dev team.
The Solution
We built the platform on Next.js and Node/Express with MongoDB, centering the student experience on interactive digital books and animated learning modules with a quiz and assessment engine. A teacher and admin panel backed by a proper CMS let educators publish content directly, and Socket.IO powered real-time progress tracking so teachers could see how students were doing as they worked.
